THURSDAY: Gallery Talk on "Etruscan Gifts" with Jim Higginbotham (Suzanne Bergeron)

The new exhibition Etruscan Gifts: Artifacts from Early Italy in the Bowdoin Collection explores the origins of Etruscan civilization, contacts with the Phoenicians, Greeks, and contemporary cultures in ancient Italy, and their wider legacy. Jim Higginbotham, organizer of this exhibition, and Associate Professor of Classics on the Henry Johnson Professorship Fund, Curator for the Ancient Collection, and Chair of the Classics Department at Bowdoin College, will lead a tour and share insights into Etruscan history.

Presented by the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.  Free and open to the public.
