Amazing Arctic Animals! Family Day at the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum.

Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10:00am to 12:30pm 

Come learn about some amazing Arctic animals and make animal-themed art projects!

• Families will have a chance to make their own tumbling polar bear cub paper toy to play with at home!
• Museum staff will teach a special painting technique with bubble-wrap to recreate the texture of a narwhal's unique spotted grey skin.
• Create a muskox hand puppet using construction paper and three simple folds!
• Make a cute and fuzzy-looking snowy owlet painting without using a paintbrush at all!
• Learn how to make an origami arctic fox using paper that’s white on one side and a beautiful color on the other.
