The Dunlap Prize application is now live on Qualtrics! The Dunlap Prize is annually awarded to 1-2 Bowdoin seniors based on the following criteria:

1) the level of commitment to service the student has demonstrated while at Bowdoin; and 

2) the strength of the essay the student submits on the subject of service.  

The essay should be a finished piece of original writing up to two pages, double spaced, that expresses the student’s philosophy of community engagement as informed by their experience as a Bowdoin student. These essays should focus on their philosophy and what they’ve learned rather than a recounting of what they’ve done. This prize comes with an award of $1,350. The deadline for essays to be submitted is 9:00 AM on Monday, April 15.
