Experian IdentityWorks Credit Monitoring to be Discontinued (Mary Cote)

The College’s subscription for Experian IdentityWorks will end as of April 1, 2023 or upon your individual enrollment anniversary, whichever is later.  With these services now widely available and at no-cost through many financial institutions and a new no-cost offering from Cigna for faculty and staff enrolled in one of Bowdoin’s health plans the decision has been made to end the Experian Service.  If you or a currently covered family member would like to continue with Experian, you can do so but will become responsible for the cost starting with this year’s renewal of service.  If currently enrolled in Experian IdentityWorks, you will receive a renewal notice from Experian notifying you of the termination of coverage.  If you have questions about the product, choose to extend coverage at your own cost or need assistance, please contact Experian’s customer care team at 1-877-890-9332.

Starting in March 2023, Cigna is offering IdentityForce credit monitoring services as part of our Cigna medical plan coverage at no additional cost.  IdentifyForce is available at no-cost to faculty and staff who are enrolled in one of the College’s health plans and any child(ren) living in your household up to age 18.  Faculty and staff can buy up for additional coverage for a spouse or adult child 18 or over at a cost of $2 per month.

There are three ways to enroll:
