Personal Electronics Recycling Event for Bowdoin Employees and Students (Keisha Payson)

Have an old computer or TV taking up space at home? What about old keyboards and broken speakers stuffed in your garage? Bowdoin is offering a free electronics and appliance take back day for employees & students.  Bowdoin is once again partnering with North Coast Services to hold an electronics recycling event!  This is for your personal electronics - not ones owned by the college.  

When: Friday, March 31st  11:30-1:30

Where: The Coffin Street Parking Lot

WHAT: Recycle your old personal electronics (not Bowdoin owned). Examples include: TVs, computers (hard drives will be wiped clean), CRT computer monitors (glass) and LCD monitors, laptops, wires, cables, adapters, power supplies, internal computer components, cell phones, PDA’s, game consoles, radios, satellite gear, network devices, VCRs, DVD players, desktop scanning and printing devices (including fax machines and typewriters). Small appliances also accepted, like microwaves and toaster ovens (but no appliances containing refrigerant such air conditioners or dehumidifiers).
