Submit to Your Story Matters by April 7th (Philip Bonanno)

Your Story Matters is a new initiative dedicated to telling the stories of disabled students at Bowdoin. Students are encouraged to submit a piece of creative writing that relates to their lived experience with disability. Poems, short stories, spoken word, personal essays, and dramatic monologues are all welcome. These pieces will be performed at a campus-wide reading in mid-April (date TBD). Students may read their own work or consent to have their work read by someone else. Submissions may also be made anonymously. Pieces will be accepted until 11:59pm on Friday, April 7th and can be submitted here. Please contact Claude Olson, Disability Culture Coordinator, at c.olson@bowdoin.edu with any questions.
