On Friday, March 3, 12:30pm, 3rd floor H-L, please join Special Collections & Archives staff for the monthly page-turning of John James Audubon's double-elephant folio edition of 'Birds of America.' In addition to it's magnificent size, this book features Audubon's drawings of birds (engraved, printed, and hand-colored) and is displayed one page at a time. Bowdoin's copy is one of 120 known copies. Guest speaker is Cora Dow, Bowdoin Class of 2024.
