Do you want to make money quick? Are you unsure how credit scores truly work? Do you get confused everytime someone talks about investing? Do you want to retire rich? Does debt scare you? Well, if you answerd yes to any of those questions, please join us next Monday, 2/27, at 7 pm in 151 Cleavland (Druck) for an interactive workshop with Yanely Espinal (also known as Miss Be Helpful on social media). Yanely was a FGLI student at Brown (class of 2011) who has become one of the biggest advocates for financial education for FGLI students. Yanely talks about money from the mindset of someone who grew up as a low-income student. She understands the nerves around investing and credit scores and demystifies that while empowering students to take control of their own finances. We are so excited to have her come so please invite your friends and come talk about money!Check out Yanely's Youtube channel here! We will also be hosting a dinner with Yanely at 5:30pm in the Pinnette room in Thorne that Monday if you would like to come talk to her 1-on-1.
